Travis Elementary is a
Houston I.S.D. school with a Magnet / Vanguard program
(Gifted and Talented). The
school is located in the
historic Woodland Heights
neighborhood, just three miles
north of downtown Houston.
Travis Elementary celebrated its Centennial on May 2, 2009 with a Parade, Tree Planting, and Ceremony. Special guests included
Mrs. Barbara Bush, Mayor Bill White, HISD Trustee Natasha Kamrani, and Travis Alumni.
