Travis Elementary is a Houston I.S.D. school with a Magnet / Vanguard program (Gifted and Talented).  The school is located in the historic Woodland Heights neighborhood, just three miles north of downtown Houston.

Important - Please Read
HISD made the decision to close Travis on Friday, May 15, after the number of confirmed H1N1 cases went to 12. We are currently scheduled to restart on Tuesday, May 26.

Our Food Services Department will have boxed lunches for all students of Travis during the days we are closed. These can be picked up under the pavilion at our Spark Park between 11-12 each day.


Travis Summer School begins on June 4th at 8:00. Open for Kinder to 5th grade. Registration forms available at the office. For more information about Academic Academies click here.
